If you want good authentic food , leave those big commercial places alone. This little restaurant has them beat . The only indigenous people I ever see at those other places , work there. They actually come here to eat , that should tell you how good the food is. Sadly they don't have beer or liquor, but the Mexican cokes are pretty good.

This lil Mexican restaurant is the real deal.
The food is good and and authentic. The place is small but service is quick and the staff was very nice.
I got taco plate and he got the steak quesadilla , with a coke. The jalapeño sauce was really good on our food.
The salsa was good and we could add our own heat to it if we wanted to. Our only small complaint was the chips, we prefer a thinner chip to eat with our salsa and guacamole. But it was good food and price was even better. We will be back -

My wife and I moved from Southern California to Mississippi 7 years ago. We've eaten in every Mexican restaurant we could find from Memphis to New Orleans. I had come to the conclusion that we would never eat good Mexican food again until two weeks ago when we ate at Julia's. What an absolute pleasure it was.

Every time I've eaten here, the food is amazing. It's truly authentic Mexican food. It's my favorite Mexican restaurant in 4 counties(Jones, Jasper, Newton, and Lauderdale). It's also less expensive than the others. We average $10 per person. The staff is always friendly and provide prompt service. I highly recommend trying the "Mexican hamburger" with steak if you've never had one. It's delicious!!! You won't be disappointed.
